  1. Recipe for Chocolate Ice Cream



    3 large frozen bananas cut into chunks (about 3 cups)
    1 tsp vanilla extract 1-2 medjool dates pitted
    1-2 tblsp baking cocoa (unsweetened)
    2 tblsp unsweetened almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)

    In a blender (a Vitamix type blender is best for this recipe as it will make the ice cream very creamy), add about half of the bananas and the other ingredients. Begin to blend. Once it starts to cream up, add the rest of the bananas and continue to blend. Do a taste test to determine if you want to add another date or more cocoa depending on how sweet or chocolatey you prefer it to be. If you are having trouble blending, you may want to add a bit more non-dairy milk. Serve it up right away or if you would like it a bit more frozen, put in the freezer for a while. ENJOY!

  2. I have a Vitamix too. Are you turning the power all the way to max (using the high power
    switch to the left of the dial?). Or are you just using the dial…and then turning it to what number? Thanks.
